Provenance narrative
A Mathira wet mill on the Karatina ridge, Kamuthanga processes cherry from steep red-soil plots fed by the Ragati river. Alongside its classic double-washed lots, the society runs a small anaerobic programme that seals selected cherry in tanks for 72 hours before pulping.
